I mentioned in an earlier post that I was going to try to join the new "Merry Monday" Challenge. Lesley presents us with the challenge for the week and we are to make a Christmas card inspired by her challenge. This last week she had a sketch for us and below is my take on it. I turned the sketch on its side to fit my tree. You can't see it but there are sprinkles of "snow" on the blue background. This card also features an image from the second set I'm using as part of me going through all of my stamp sets. It's one of my favorites and can you believe it came out in 2001? It will remain on my craft table until I use all of the images in it.
Thank you for visiting today. I wish I could sit down with you and have a cup of coffee and a piece of my blueberry bread. I'm off to continue on preparation for painting my kitchen cupboards. What are you doing today?
Blessing from Yesterday: John set up a little painting area for my kitchen cupboard doors and drawers down in the basement.

So pretty! Love the bits of snow on the branches!
ReplyDeleteI have this classic set too. A great one! I wish I could get moving on Christmas cards too. Very nice Susie!
ReplyDeleteHi Susie, coffee and blueberry bread sounds tempting :) Your card is lovely - the ribbon bow is stunning and that image is fab - and to think you've had it about 11 years and not used it! Good luck with the painting. Elizabeth x
ReplyDeleteGreat job on this sketch Sue. I love Christmas trees! Wish I could be sitting with you. I'm cooking a pot of stew and hoping to get to my craft room before the day is done. Good luck with those cupboards.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely card Sue and using one of my favourite sets ever too! The coffee and blueberry bread sound wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun challenge and card! I look forward to seeing all of your creations!

Melissa
